Palladium Properties Welcomes Larry Yaw’s Latest Installation, Color Story
Palladium Properties is thrilled at the successful opening reception for local artist, Larry Yaw. His latest installment of abstract, oil paintings titled Color Story debuted in the Palladium Willits’ office in Basalt Thursday evening. The space was overflowing with friends and fans of Yaw’s contemporary work.
Yaw is one of the founding partners of Cottle Carr Yaw Architects which began in 1971 and he has been a major force in the firm’s creative direction. Yaw became intrigued by the medium of oil paint and began to explore its possibilities and techniques. His friendship with Andy Taylor and Dick Carter of the council of The Art Base helped support him in this exploration.
The Art Base fosters creative expression in the visual arts for all ages and abilities—providing a base of operations for artists in the Roaring Fork Valley through education, exhibitions and events that support and stimulate the vitality of our community.
